Solo: A Star Wars Story (2018) movie review
[Solo] has a good, solid emotional core and fulfills its obligations to the “Star Wars” mythology without treating it with sanctimonious reverence.

Annihilation does work fairly well as a visceral horror movie, if not as an intellectual SF movie.
[Altered Carbon]’s certainly not as good as it could’ve been given its premise and production values, but it has much more going for it than against it.
[T]he profundity of its premise gave it the potential to be even better than the original Blade Runner.
Alien: Covenant isn’t on the same level as the original two “Alien” movies ... but it’s only one level below them.
