Cleverly marketed as a family- and Christian-friendly Lord of the Rings last year, this first big screen instalment based on the C.S. Lewis kiddie books became one of the huge hits of the year, even out-grossing the behemoth King Kong.

Already number seven on the Amazon best-seller DVD lists, Narnia is now available on pre-order and will be released on April 4, 2006. A sequel based on Prince Caspian, another book in the series, is already in production and slated for a Christmas 2007 release.
