The first fiull trailer for Amazon’s anthology series Dark/Web is here, and what starts out looking like nothing out of the ordinary, takes an abrupt turn into the dark side to Creepsville.

Dark/Web takes place in the near future, after the disappearance of cyber analyst Molly Solis (Noemi Gonzalez) during her research into the dangers of a hyper-connected world. As friends try and decipher the strange messages and codes Molly left behind, each one discovers a different hidden pocket of the deep internet, each more alarming than the last.

Here;s what the synopsis looks like:

In the near future, the evolution of the internet has given way to a world in crisis; one where everyone’s connected but no one is safe. As the mystery deepens, they’ll discover the stories, and Molly herself, may be concealing information that could change the world… or destroy it.
