THEY SAY
Milla Jovovich is set to reprise her signature role as
Alice in this fourth installment, which takes off where
Resident Evil: Extinction ended.
Paul W.S. Anderson who directed the first two movies and the Death Race
remake will write the screenplay and direct.
In a world ravaged by a virus infection, turning its
victims into the Undead, Alice continues on her journey to find survivors
and lead them to safety. Her deadly battle with the Umbrella Corporation
reaches new heights, but Alice gets some unexpected help from an old
friend. A new lead that promises a safe haven from the Undead leads them
to Los Angeles, but when they arrive the city is overrun by thousands of
Undead and Alice and her comrades are about to step into a deadly trap.
"Alice's battle with The Umbrella Corporation isn't
finished. Last time we saw Alice, she let them know she was coming after
them. It's time to settle the score," says director Anderson.
WE SAY
We were hoping for this franchise to jump the shark by having an army of Milla Jovovich clones invade Tokyo, Japan (see the end
of Resident Evil: Extinction), but it was alas not to be it seems .
