This affectionate and loving spoof of 1950s alien invader-type stories has as its premise a bunch of aliens who have taken over a small town in the 1950s - but haven't caught on through the years that things have changed in the outside world . . .

Cue thus  as a small town still stuck in the 1950s in the 1980s!  This however sounds more fun and interesting than the film really is - Strange Invaders fails to sustain interest in the end.
