SHORT CIRCUIT

* * *

STARRING: Ally Sheedy, Steve Guttenberg, Fisher Stevens, Austin Pendleton, G W Bailey, Brian McNamara

1986, 98 Minutes, Directed by: John Badham

Number Five is Alive! A robot designed for military use short circuits, gains intelligence and decides that he is actually a pacifist. Obviously the military doesn't like this sort of thing (see what they did to those poor anti-Vietnam War protestors) and they set off to destroy the robot.

Very hip, funny tale as Number Five makes assholes out of them. Ideal for kids. Make sure that you go with them . . .

Followed by a sequel imaginatively titled Short Circuit 2 in 1988.
