Walt Disney has announced that tomorrow, October 12th, the next Rogue One: A Star Wars Story trailer will be released (details below). To hype this event, they released a new poster for the film. Below is the third and final poster for Rogue One. I’m surprised that there is a third poster, especially since The Force Awakens only had two. This is more epic than the last poster released and perfect to join the others on the wall!

Press Release: Director Gareth Edwards just debuted a brand new poster for ROGUE ONE: A STAR WARS STORY on “The Star Wars Show” and revealed that a brand new trailer will debut tomorrow morning. The trailer will air first on “Good Morning America”.

Synopsis: “‘Rogue One’ takes place before the events of Star Wars: A New Hope and will be a departure from the saga films but have elements that are familiar to the Star Wars universe,” says Kathleen Kennedy. “It goes into new territory, exploring the galactic struggle from a ground-war perspective while maintaining that essential Star Wars feel that fans have come to know. Gareth is such an innovative director and I’m so excited to be working with him and the extraordinary ensemble cast he’s selected for ‘Rogue One.’”

The cast includes Felicity Jones, Diego Luna, Ben Mendelsohn, Donnie Yen, Jiang Wen, Mads Mikkelsen, Alan Tudyk, Riz Ahmed, and Forest Whitaker. “Rogue One” is directed by Gareth Edwards, produced by Kathleen Kennedy, Allison Shearmur, and Simon Emanuel, executive produced by John Knoll and Jason McGatlin, and co-produced by John Swartz and Kiri Hart.

ROGUE ONE: A STAR WARS STORY is in theaters December 16, 2016!

In my career as a writer, I have made Doctor Who giggle, asked Ahsoka Tano what underwear she was wearing, and spoke with a Raptor from Jurassic Park.
