Mallozzi needs to explore other avenues to bring this back. Makes me feel bad just like when The Sarah Connor Chronicles was cancelled. It was just starting to get good. Killjoys and The Expanse are good, but DM is so much better. Has Mallozzi gone to AMC/TNT/name any other network????????????????
I don’t understand the problem with producers that don’t fight for their shows. HULU/Amazon Prime????

I loved watching Killjoys and Dark Matter. Perfect pairing.

Why is there a prerequisite of hating on Killjoys in order to like Dark Matter? Dark Matter was a great show. I’ll still be tuning into Killjoys every week for next two seasons. Killjoys is science fiction. You might like Dark Matter better but it was not a choose one or the other. If they were doing wrestling instead you would have a argument.

But saying I like one science fiction program over another science fiction so SYFY is bad is just asinine.

Biggest programming blunder since FOX cancelled Firefly. What’s worse is that Dark Matter had the numbers and a rabidly loyal following. A real shame that NetFlix didn’t pick it up when it became available. I’m sure that those involved with the show will go on to create other amazing shows, but damn! It was magic while it lasted…

Just found out about the Dark Matter series cancellation. Very disappointed. Goodbye SyFy – I’ve no reason to watch your channel anymore.

I agree with the author of this this article.. this cancellation leaves a bad and bitter taste. I can’t ever trust Sy-fy to do right by its viewers again. I’m really hoping the channel goes belly-up.

agreed, super pissed about both cancellations. the holy trinity of Wynonna Earp, Dark Matter and Killjoys was the best thing SyFy did in a long while. they could have at least not ended Dark Matter on such a cliffhanger. give me back my Raza family, SyFy

Look I agree that SyFy failed us all when they cancelled Dark Matter, but don’t hate on Killjoys in your anger. While Dark Matter was unquestionably the better show, Killjoys is still good fun. Just because one show is better doesn’t meant we can’t enjoy both. And we can certainly all still hate SyFy for cancelling Dark Matter.

A perfect description of SYFY. It all started to fall apart when it changed it’s name from SciFi, it was the harbinger of it’s move away from the genre.

Cancelling Dark Matter was a travesty.
