Amazon Studios has released a new trailer for its upcoming series Hanna, an adaptation of the 2011 Joe Wright film of the same name which starred Saoirse Ronan. David Farr, who co-wrote the film, will also write this series, with Sarah Adina Smith (Buster’s Mal Heart) directing. Hanna stars Esme Creed-Miles as the young girl trained to be a ruthless killer by her father, played by Joel Kinnaman (Altered Carbon). Mireille Enos (The Killing) is stepping into the role of a CIA agent tracking down the child assassin.
The end of the trailer also reveals that Amazon will make the first episode of the series available for Prime subscribers, but only for 24 hours following the game. Hanna is set for a March release.
