This low-budget flick has Gremlins-like creatures escaping from their
asteroid prison and fleeing to earth to wreak havoc with two intergalactic bounty hunters
in hot pursuit.
Despite not having an
original bone in its body, the film does have a
certain goofy charm and energy to it.
(Several sequels were made by the way: Critters
2: The Main Course in 1988, Critters 3: You Are What They Eat and
Critters 4: They're Invading Your Space, both of
which were filmed back-to-back in 1992 for video.)
