No more big screen sequel then?

Zombieland posterLatest news has it that Zombieland, the 2009 surprise hit starring Woody Harrelson, Jesse Eisenberg and Emma Stone, is going to be made into a comedy TV show.

Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick, who also wrote the movie, will develop the half-hour-long TV series aimed at the 2012-2013 broadcast series for Fox and Sony Pictures Television.

The potential series will thus probably replace any big screen feature sequel.
