Just finding this... pretty awful article.
-Resident Evil: Apocalypse wasn't good, but calling it short on violence is probably the one criticism you CAN'T make of it (or any of those films, really.)
-The Rock never fought dinosaurs at the center of the earth. That was Brendan Fraser. Pretty big difference.
-On the same movie, what does "nonexistent special effects" mean? "Nonexistent" is not a synonym for "bad". There were plenty of special effects.
-Why is Prince of Persia on a list of "The 8 Worst Video Game Movies" if all you have to say is that it's mediocre and ambitious (i.e., better than most of them)?
-Edward Carnby, not Carny. He doesn't work at a fairground. Also, to nitpick, Tara Reid was playing an anthropologist, not an archaeologist (though I'm sure she doesn't know what either of those words mean).
-Odd that you cite the RottenTomatoes score for Silent Hill when it's better than the scores for all but one of the other movies on this list.
-Also on the subject of Silent Hill; firstly, it makes sense if you think about it and watch it a few times, but I'll admit it's much harder to decipher than most horror flicks. Secondly, and more importantly: let's take it at face value that Silent Hill is a visually and aurally awesome film with a totally incomprehensible plot. I could say the same about almost anything David Lynch has made (and some Kubrick, for that matter). Yet those movies receive high praise. I'm not saying that automatically makes Silent Hill as good as those movies, but it does make using that as a criticism seem hypocritical.

What? No Wing Commander? Surely it was the most completely stuffed Video Game to Movie conversion of all time. Not only did they make a crap movie, with totally miscast actors (Matthew Lillard as 'Maniac', really?), vital and unnecessary changes to the story (WTF is a Pilgrim anyway?) and some of the worst dialogue I have ever heard, they topped it off by editing out vital parts of the the movie (the Captain Sansky traitor sub-plot) thereby making it impossible for the story they did have to hang together in any meaningful way. The worst thing of all though, is that Chris Roberts himself directed this. Chris, hang your head in shame mate!!!

Silent Hill, resident Evil: Apocalypse, Street Fighter and Doom wasn't really that bad. If you need to list the 8 worst video game movies ever. You only need to list Uwe Boll movies. Where the hell is House of the dead? That's the absolute worst video game movie ever, Now that I think of it, its probably the worst movie ever.
