Some genuine set pics leaked from the set of upcoming sequel . . .

After some older photos from the 2009 Star Trek movie were posted as the genuine item, along comes some real set pics from Star Trek 2.

The pics feature Zoe Saldana (Uhura) and Zachary Quinto (Spock) battling the villainous character portrayed by Benedict Cumberbatch, Sherlock in BBC’s popular Sherlock Holmes TV series.

The movie is set for a May 17th, 2013 release date and also stars Chris Pine, Anton Yelchin, Simon Pegg, Karl Urban, John Cho. It is directed by J.J. Abrams and contrary to earlier reports Leonard Nimoy won’t be appearing again as older Spock.
