Says remake is building a “richer world” . . .

 

Earlier this week producer Michael Bay irked TMNT fans when he let drop that the Turtles will be aliens in the remake planned for December 2013.

Here’s what he had to say in response to the (predictable) fan backlash:

“Fans need to take a breath, and chill. They have not read the script. Our team is working closely with one of the original creators of Ninja Turtles to help expand and give a more complex back story. Relax, we are including everything that made you become fans in the first place. We are just building a richer world.”

A richer world for whom? For the producers of the planned Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles remake?
