Charlize Theron says filming is due to start in July . . .
I’ll bet you have clean forgotten about Mad Max 4: Fury Road, the on-again, off-again Mad Max reboot featuring Tom Hardy (no, not the Victorian author of Tess of the D’Urbervilles, but the dude who plays Bane in Dark Knight Rises) instead of 56-year-old Mel Gibson.
According to Charlize Theron the movie is finally due to start filming in July of this year – after three years of delays!
Here’s what she had to say:
“I leave in like two and a half weeks and we start shooting I think around Mid-July in Namibia. I’m f**king dying, too, it’s been three years. It’s time to skin this cat already, so yeah, I’m very excited about it.”
“Like with Snow White and the Huntsman, there is so much potential to re-imagine that world. It’s such an interesting world and how much it still resonates today after 20 years or whatever it’s been. We’re going back to that world but this is not a prequel or sequel or anything like that.”
