Publicity is picking up for the upcoming Disney flick which reportedly cost a fortune ($250 million) to make.

Release date is March 9th, 2012.

It stars Taylor Kitsch who is turning out to be 2012’s Sam Worthington (he also appears in next year’s Battleship movie).

John Carter also stars Mark Strong, Willem Dafoe, Ciarán Hinds, Bryan Cranston, Dominic West, Polly Walker and Thomas Haden Church. The movie is directed by Pixar’s Andrew Stanton.
