When a 3D movie is 15$, its an expensive trip to the movies with a family. They are going to save it up and only go for the big, safe ones (e.g. PofCIV) and not take a chance on John Carter. Now that movie theaters spam you 10 min of commercials, why are ticket prices rising? If anything they should drop. If they did, I bet more people would go to the movies in general.
