Marc Guggenheim will write the script for Disney.

Time Zones movieMarc Guggenheim (Green Lantern, The Flash) will write the script for Time Zones, a time travel adventure, for Disney. The movie will be produced by Mark Gordon (Source Code).

The story takes place after an event that results in the separation the Earth into different time periods, which means that traveling from one country to another also means traveling through the centuries. So for example it would be 1750 in France, but simultaneously 300 BC in China, 2065 in New York, etc.

A man realizes that, because time travel is now a matter of geography, he can perhaps change the past and save his wife’s life. To achieve this, he must team up with his estranged daughter.
