Michael Bay to return to direct fourth outing next year?


Transformers posterAll signs point to Michael Bay directing a fourth Transformers flick that will probably start filming next year.  (No surprise there considering that the third one made a gazillion bucks!)

Earlier this week Steven Spielberg said he wants Bay for the job and this week Internet rumors have it that Paramount will back Bay’s Pain and Gain movie about two body builders who kidnap a businessman if he agrees to direct Transformers 4.

(Bay has apparently been having trouble financing his “personal” Pain and Gain low-budget project.)

The director previously stated that he doesn’t want to be involved in any more Transformers movies, but who can say no to a multimillion paycheck in today’s economy?

No announcements have been made yet, but “insiders” expect one next week.
