New photos from the upcoming 3-D Judge Dredd movie . . .

Some new pics have surfaced of Karl Urban, Olivia Thirlby and Lena Headey from the upcoming Dredd flick.

Incidentally it was again confirmed at ComicCon 2012 that audiences WON’T get to see Karl Urban as Judge Dredd without his helmet- in the original British comics readers never got to see what Dredd looked like and it endlessly irked that fans that the 1990s movie revealed that Judge Dredd had more than a passing resemblance to Sylvester Stallone.

Fans get to see what Dredd doesn’t look like in 3-D on September 21st, 2012. The movie also stars Domhnall Gleeson, Santi Scinelli, Deobia Oparei, Jason Cope and Brandon Livanos, all of them in 3-D. The flick is directed by Pete Travis.
