Check out the first official pic for the upcoming Iron Man 3 movie below. The press release lists one of the locations for the movie as being China which means that Ben Kingsley will indeed play long-time comic book villain Mandarin then.

The movie has a May 3rd, 2013 release date. The movie stars Robert Downey Jr., Scarlett Johansson, Gwyneth Paltrow, Don Cheadle, Guy Pearce, Ben Kingsley, Jessica Chastain and James Badge Dale. The film is directed by Shane Black (Kiss Kiss Bang Bang) who replaces Jon Favreau who directed the previous two movies.
