Paramount hired Eagle Eye writer to rewrite untitled sci-fi project . . .

UFO picJohn Glenn –  not the astronaut but the screenwriter of Eagle Eye – has been hired by Paramount Pictures to rewrite an as-yet untitled science fiction script, which the studio has bought from John Heffernan (who wrote Snakes on a Plane) earlier in June of this year.

Little is known about the project except that it has been known as Abduction previously and has been described as “Die Hard on a spaceship.”

It is about a group of average Joes who are abducted by aliens and decide to fight their way off the alien ship.

Producer Mary Parent (Meet the Fockers, The Bourne Supremacy, Serenity) is producing the film for her new company Disruption Entertainment.
