What we always suspected: corporate capitalism is run by aliens!

Here’s a movie for our troubled times: a flick in which the aliens have already conquered the world via global capitalism. Okay, so John Carpenter already did this is in 1988’s They Live, but Marxist sci-fi movies are in short supply so we’re just thrilled that someone is making an anti-Capitalist flick and we hope that it makes lots of money for its studio. Um . . .

Release date is September 7, 2012.

Branded is written and directed by Jamie Bradshaw and Alexander Doulerain. It stars Ed Stoppard, Leelee Sobieski, Jeffrey Tambor, Ingeborga Dapkunaite and Max von Sydow.

Branded is a dark and mind-bending journey into a surreal, dystopian society where corporate brands have unleashed a monstrous global conspiracy to get inside our minds and keep the population disillusioned, dependent and passive.  One man’s Misha (Ed Stoppard) passion to unlock the truth behind the conspiracy will lead to an epic battle with the hidden forces that really control our world.

Branded is the vision of two widely respected marketing executives: Jamie Bradshaw and Alexander Doulerain. Bradshaw and Doulerain co-wrote, produced and directed. Ed Stoppard, Leelee Sobieski, Jeffrey Tambor, Ingeborga Dapkunaite and Max Von Sydow star.

Looks like a total suckfest. Nothing more than an attempt to brainwash Americans into believing that earning a living is bad and freeloading is the way of the future. America has become a nation of weak, dumb cowards and probably will eat this up.

Isn’t it ironic that when your (JustMe) paradigm is supported America becomes the best nation ever but when it is challenged then Americans are being brainwashed to become weak, dumb cowards. How much more courage does it require to think for onesself and not buy into stereotypes of hard working wage slaves and consuming sleepwalking sheeple, never questioning authority or rocking the boat. When you find yourself looking down the barrle of a weapon weilded by a National Guardsman ordered to round you up into processing centers so that the “Banksters” can hang onto “their” property for just a little while longer, I would love to see the stupid look of wounded disillusionment on your face as you cry that no one warned you that this day was coming
