David James Kelly is now on board to rewrite Brad Caleb Kane’s (Fringe) initial script of 20th Century Fox’ announced Daredevil Reboot.
Don’t worry if his name doesn’t show up on your radar senses at all, it’s the first writing credit for Kelly, whose only previous work includes post-production assistant on the 2008 film Sunshine Cleaning. Kelly’s task will be adapting “Born Again,” a famous Daredevil story arc written by Frank Miller, which appeared in Daredevil #227-#233.

David Slade (30 Days of Night, The Twilight Saga: Eclipse) is rumored to occupy the Director chair.

Ugh. No more Daredevil. The first one was bad enough.

Daredevil was awesome. Affleck was great, although I don’t have any need to see him again, in anything. I can’t get past his love affair with all things NSA. I get sick of reboots too. You do a great flick, once in a while, and tons of crap in between (Superman Returns, Man Of Steel, Avengers, atrocious Hulk reboots, Iron Man 3, The Dark Knight and the one before it [forget the title; the Joker was good though]), when you should be following up the good flicks with sequels. Ah well, What to expect from capitalists and Hollywood/Pentagon!?
